About
Still Waters is a ministry that is intently focused on Lead Pastor Families. We build strong, lasting relationships with Pastors through friendship. We equip Pastors by resourcing them for their ministry and personal lives. We encourage Pastors to get the rest they need by connecting them with respite ministries and being available to speak in the church they shepherd.
Luis and Leigh Ann Salazar, founders of Still Waters, have 25 plus years of church ministry experience. They spent the last 7 years as Lead Pastors and recently stepped away to launch this ministry. Their experience and longevity in ministry allows them to see what pastors need and insight on how to help them. They have preached and taught in over 9 countries, 5 US states, and 37 cities.

How We Got Here
Take a journey with us as we share the full story of why we moved into a new season out of Lead Pastoring and into something new! We hope our recent transition will give you the faith to take the next steps to do what God has called you to do!

Our Mission
We impact the Kingdom by encouraging Lead Pastors and their family, locally and worldwide. We build relationships, provide resources and encourage respite so that Pastors can have longevity at the church God has called them to shepherd.

Our Vision
We desire to impact as many pastors as possible and bless them with connectivity, networking, financial support and more.

It was a great time to have Pastor Luis Salazar and Leigh Ann at our church. From the moment they first introduced themselves you could tell how great they were and how family oriented they were. Their sermon was great! They helped me look at things that I didn’t consider were possible to happen in my life and helped me realize that God comes to us in many ways and at any time. They were amazing pastors and I hope too them again.

Back in late August, we took a little vacation/sabbatical to pray for our next direction. It was our first time to miss a Sunday in over 2 years. It was comforting to know that we had a friend of the ministry that we could trust to oversee our people. Their ministry is a big help to keep pastors to keep burning on instead of burning out.”

Lead Pastor, Living Proof Church Groesbeck, TX
The fall is a very big time for Living Proof Church. Having someone like the Salazar's come in and preach a Sunday takes a huge amount of pressure off of myself and my staff. It's getting harder to find support that can be trusted to preach a Biblical message without trying to pick the pockets in the church. Also, with the majority of our church members being younger families, having their children with them made them relatable to our congregation...

Lead Pastor, The Gathering Place Dallas, TX
I’m a very grateful for Pastor Luis, and the way he ministered to our men. We recently had a men’s fishing retreat at Joe Pool Lake and asked Pastor Luis to minister to our men. He brought a very refreshing word with a football reference that really impacted the men present. We had 3 men give their life to Christ that day. On behalf of our church we highly recommend Pastor Luis and his ministry.
